1913 Standard model S Rhyl

This 1913 Standard Rhyl is listed as commission number 10300, engine number 10209 and carries the original Norfolk registration number AH 1798.  It was supplied new by
J J Wright and Sons of Dereham, Norfolk and supplied new to the Rev A E Hall, The Rectory, Gressenhall.

J J Wright and Sons, took the car back in part exchange against a new car in 1930 and the car was put in the rear of their showroom, where it was to remain for the next 40 years.

The car then moved first to Bristol, then to Glastonbury for the next 30 years until acquired by David Groom in October 2011.   David has now started to recommission this highly original car back onto the road, bearing in mind that it has not seen regular useage since J J Wright and Sons took the car back in 1930.
